Wimmera UnitingCare provides a range of disability support services for people with disability, their families and carers.
Provides holistic lifestyle day activities for people with disabilities living the Wimmera region. Based at our Grahams Bridge Road campus, Day Programs provides opportunities for community interaction and participation through day activities such as arts and craft, educational opportunities through TAFE, sporting activities at the Horsham YMCA, Riding for the Disabled (RDA) and other excursions. We offer individualised support to achieve personal goals and aspirations. Day Programs is available to people aged 18 to 65 with disability as stated under the Disability Act 2006.
Disability and Long Term Housing
Long Term housing for people with disabilities enables them to live independently.
Disability Community Based Services
Community living support helps people with disabilities to develop the day to day skills they need to live as independently as possible, example – cooking, shopping and participating in community life. Disability Community Based Services is available to people aged 18 to 65 with disability as stated under the Disability Act 2006.
Respite care is offered in a wide variety or flexible and support options. Respite carers are carefully matched to meet the special needs of the child and family. Programs include school holiday programs, boys only and girls only group activities, Saturday fun days, facility-based respite – overnight, community based respite, emergency and camps. Disability Respite is available to people aged 6 to 65 with disability as stated under the Disability Act 2006. Home & Community Care programs are also available for children aged 6 to 18 years for group based activities and who require one-on-one supports during these activities.

Individual Support Packages as designed to enable individuals to exercise choice in obtaining support that will assist them to achieve goals and pursue their lifestyle choices.
Shared Supported Accommodation
Shared Support Accommodation provides a holistic home style environment to support residents to be involved in their own daily living choices.
Wimmera Parent Support Network
The Parent Support Network’s focus is families who have a child or children aged up to18 years of age that have an intellectual disability, physical disability, developmental delay, sensory or an acquired brain injury.
